Aroleva — Sourcing Standards

Reviewing the Formulation.

Aroleva selects products under a three-stage sourcing review. Each item in the catalogue — whether a body cream, body butter, daily vitamin or supplement complex — is assessed for ingredient origin, supplier documentation and formulation integrity before listing. The following notes describe the review process in full.

Aroleva selects products under the following principles: each item in the catalogue is reviewed for ingredient transparency before listing, supplier documentation is requested where available, corrections are noted in the catalogue record, and the selection team discloses any commercial relationships that could influence inclusion.

02 — The Review Process

Three Stages. One Standard.

01
Stage One

Origin & Ingredient Assessment

The first stage reviews where each ingredient comes from. For body care formulations, the origin of plant-derived components, cold-pressed oils and botanical extracts is assessed against supplier documentation. For supplement formulations, nutrient sources — whether botanical extracts, mineral complexes or vitamin derivatives — are identified and documented.

Products without adequate origin documentation at this stage are not advanced to the following review stages. The origin assessment establishes the foundation for ingredient transparency across both product lines.

Assessed At This Stage
Ingredient origin documentation
Botanical and plant-derived content ratio
Supplier identification and record availability
Ingredient naming clarity (common + reference name)
02
Stage Two

Formulation Review

The second stage reviews the formulation itself. For body care products — including body creams, body butters, body lotions and body balms — each formulation is reviewed for ingredient concentration, compatibility with everyday application and daily routine suitability. The formulation review for vitamins and supplement complexes focuses on nutrient concentration and compatibility with a daily supplement schedule.

Products in this stage are reviewed based on published ingredient research. The catalogue does not conduct its own laboratory testing. Independently reviewed formulation data is prioritised where available.

Assessed At This Stage
Ingredient concentration suitability
Daily routine compatibility assessment
Review of published ingredient research
Format and quantity suitability for daily use
03
Stage Three

Catalogue Inclusion & Documentation

Products completing both prior stages are assessed for catalogue inclusion. At this stage, the selection team prepares the catalogue entry: ingredient breakdown, sourcing notes, product description and key nutrient or botanical notes. The entry is reviewed against the catalogue's vocabulary standards — descriptions reflect formulation composition rather than outcome claims.

Included products are logged in the internal catalogue record with the review date and reviewing team member. Periodic re-review is conducted for listed products when supplier documentation or formulation notes are updated by the manufacturer.

Assessed At This Stage
Entry documentation prepared and reviewed
Vocabulary standard compliance confirmed
Commercial relationship disclosure checked
Review date and reviewer logged in record
03 — Quality Approach

Ingredient Transparency Standards

Plant-Derived Priority

Both body care and supplement product lines prioritise plant-derived, botanical and organic extract ingredients. Ingredient sourcing is reviewed for plant-origin confirmation where this is relevant to the formulation category. Cold-pressed oils, herbal infusions and active botanicals are prioritised in body cream formulations; botanical extracts and plant-sourced nutrients in supplement formulations.

Supplier Documentation

Supplier documentation — including ingredient origin records, formulation notes and independent quality certifications — is requested for each product at the time of initial review. Documentation is retained internally and is available on request for catalogue enquiries. Products without adequate documentation do not advance through the review process.

Periodic Re-Review

Products listed in the catalogue are subject to periodic re-review, particularly when supplier documentation is updated or a formulation change is disclosed by the manufacturer. Corrections to listed entries are noted publicly in the catalogue record. Products that no longer meet the selection standard following re-review are removed from the catalogue.

04 — Ingredient Categories

What the Catalogue Documents

Body Care Ingredients

Body care formulations in the catalogue are reviewed for the following ingredient categories. Documentation for each category is assessed at the origin review stage.

Base Oils
Cold-pressed jojoba, almond, rosehip, argan, coconut and olive squalane — carrier oils forming the primary emollient base of body cream formulations.
Butters
Shea butter and related plant-derived butter extracts, selected for consistency and daily body care suitability as nourishing body butter formulation components.
Botanicals
Herbal infusions, plant extracts (chamomile, calendula, oat, aloe vera), active botanicals and antioxidant-rich botanical blends used in natural body cream formulations.
Actives
Vitamin E, Vitamin C and mineral-derived actives including Magnesium and Zinc complexes incorporated into body moisturiser and skin nourishment formulations.

Supplement & Vitamin Ingredients

Daily vitamin and supplement formulations are reviewed for the following nutrient and ingredient categories.

B-Vitamins
B-Complex (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12) reviewed as foundational components in daily vitamins and energy routine supplement formulations.
Vitamins C, D, E
Fat and water-soluble vitamins reviewed for independently sourced quality and daily nutritional support relevance in everyday wellness supplement routines.
Minerals
Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, Selenium and Chromium — reviewed as mineral components in daily supplement and health complex formulations.
Omegas
Omega-3 and related plant-derived fatty acid complexes reviewed for daily nutritional variety and general wellness supplement relevance.
05 — Catalogue Standards

What the Review Does Not Cover

The Aroleva catalogue review does not include laboratory testing. Ingredient assessments are conducted against supplier documentation and published ingredient research, not independent laboratory analysis. The catalogue does not hold testing certifications.

The catalogue does not make claims about what any listed product does for the body. Product descriptions document formulation composition. Individuals with specific personal requirements are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional before introducing any new routine.
